About the book:

The Late Bloomer is a collection of poems reflecting life's philosophy, the journey of transformation. It expresses the essence of being the women of substance, fully self-expressed and an awesome gift to humanity. Vimmi has shared her experience in the poem "Slow Learner" as the transition or metamorphosis from a pupa to a beautiful butterfly, hence the Title "The Late Bloomer". The journey of a shy, naive and introvert girl from small town to a mature assertive woman in a Metro, a journey which any woman can connect and see the image reflected back.

About the author:

Vimmi Om Mehta has a graduate degree in Engineering. She has done Masters in Leadership and Management. She had developed passion for reading at an early age. This budding poetess started expressing her creative skills through writing poems in Hindi, published in College Magazine. She continued her creative pursuit by writing Book Reviews and few poems in English, published in the In-house Quarterly Magazine of her Organization. 

Vimmi has been married for twenty six years and blessed with two beautiful and awesome daughters. She believes in 'Walk the Talk', leading by example, part of Corporate World for last twenty five years. She and her husband currently live in Mumbai, India.
