About the Author :
Children have always been the centre of Geeta Tirumala’s life. After spending nearly 15 years in the United States, she worked extensively with community programmes for children while continuing her corporate career. Upon returning to India, she founded the Papyrus Library & Activity Centre, where she has guided and inspired children of all ages—toddlers to teens—through reading, workshops, counselling, and skill-building activities.
Her initiatives blend creativity, learning, and well-being, including STEM workshops, culture-based activities, yoga programmes, and leadership skill development. She has supported students through academic decisions, career goals, and personal growth, nurturing confidence and purpose.
A certified Iyengar Yoga practitioner for over eight years, Geeta finds joy in sharing the physical and mental benefits of the practice.
She holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, U.S.A.
