About the book:
The best way to enjoy Uncommon Grounds is with a cup of coffee. This collection of short stories is all about desires, dreams and some unfulfilled emotions. You will meet a hopelessly romantic, emotional, and easily bored person who invites or invents troubles. He loves his coffee and has a penchant for falling in love. His rendezvous will take you through coffee shops in the small town of Albany, New York and occasionally will make you fly cross-country or across the Atlantic. Individual stories like a date in the Chinese restaurant ruined by a Fortune cookie or so called legendary The London Story are like pearls that can shine on their own but when strung together make an elegant necklace. Some of these stories will make you laugh while others may invite a tear or two. But for the most part you will have them lingering in your mind even after you have finished your cup of coffee.
