72 years young. Home Maker. Chennaite since Husband`s retirement. One son. Two Grand Children. Has been writing for regional magazines since 1974 .

Short stories published in,Eve's Weekly, Caravan and Woman's Era. Written two novels in Tamil and a couple of novelletes published in popular Tamil Magazines.  

Has been blogging under the name Ushasuryamani in Sulekha from the year2000 , covering Temple Blogs, humorous skits, short stories and posted Photo Blogs. A member of the International Photoblogging Site called Aminus3 and has been posting photos since 2012 . Interested in music and painting and a voracius reader.

This book " The House On The Hill Top " was written as a Birthday Present for her grand daughter in 2017.
