About the Book:

Aarya, a teenager trying to get through high school and forget her past, is assigned a group project in her Environmental Studies class that forces her to confront her childhood. Nightmares about the past she has desperately tried to bury come back to haunt her. She goes on bird-watching expeditions to nature reserves in Singapore with her group, but pretending all is well may turn out to be impossible.

Will Aarya succeed in fighting her demons? Or, will her group figure out something is wrong, causing her guise to unravel and her identity to fall apart? 

About the Author:

Ananya Jain is a sixteen-year-old high school student of Indian origin who lives in Singapore with her parents and younger sister. Alongside writing, she supports causes for people with disabilities.

She enjoys spending her free time with friends and family, watching movies and going on walks. She loves animals and is happiest playing with her friends' pet dogs.
