About the Book:

Titanic Sonnets is a collection of 228 sonnets in a linear format, that is, it chronologically depicts events in the movie Titanic; moreover, the speaker in the poems is Jack Dawson, the leading character, which means it is through his perspective that things are depicted. As such sonnet 1 is his mental tribute to Titanic as he boards the grand ship at Southamption port, England. Going by the title, it is western but its content, as elucidated above, promises enthraldom for both western and oriental readers.
