This book is a labor of love, inner strength, and the desire to help. This is the author’s account of the testing time as she journeyed through her first born’s congenital heart condition. It’s a story that was bursting to be told and shared. It marks the transformation of a naïve, first time mom, into a fierce, protective, strong mother who took charge of her son’s health, and got him the best treatment possible. She learnt to be a gentle caretaker and a rock solid, tough, tenacious mother, all at the same time.

This book lists the logical steps she took to research options in multiple cities, finalising a trustworthy one, making her, and the family feel safe and secure. Most of all, this is a book to tell you that you have the strength within you to walk through tough times. To never lose hope, believe in yourself and just carry on.

About the Author:

A seeker in the truest sense, Neelum thrives on research and on asking questions. She’s a mother of two amazing boys, and she actually lists her motherhood as a job on her LinkedIn profile. Her reason for this being that women should never be apologetic about a career break due to motherhood or anything else. She’s quite the silent warrior all of us hope to have on our side.

Neelum is an optimist, a dreamer, and a thinker. She is an Engineer, MBA, and has a penchant for writing. She's lived the corporate life and gave it up to be a full time mom. Once the children were old enough she took up content writing management as a profession. She has been in the field of content management for more than a decade now. Always ready to take up a new challenge & learnings, she is now super excited about her latest adventure - her startup ‘goshtee’.
