Almost everyone knows who said those famous lines and who listened to those lines and the rest is history. But, here in India, there was one man who listened to all those speeches and rose against all odds to make his own dream true…“He had a dream that he wanted to write.”And he had kept it brewing deep within himself for almost three decades. He prepared himself - “Now is the time to go for…” and he started writing some 4-5 years ago.
He did think of giving up sometimes but he believed, “Yes, he can.” This man is Mahesh Rajurkar.
He lives with his wife and daughter in the ‘City of Black Diamonds’ (Chandrapur). He is an employee of the Govt of Maharashtra owned PSU, Mahagenco which generates electricity .
He’s just like the rest of us. He did his engineering and managed to get a government job after four years of struggle. The daily rut of his job got to him and he would dream of writing and novels.
As described by him, this story exists in its own unique sub-genre of romance situated in ideology.
