About the author :

Priya Pinto is a shining example of resilience and reinvention. Ten years ago, she faced the devastating loss of her husband, leaving her to raise her two children, then just seven and nine years old. Despite the profound grief, Priya has achieved remarkable success, both personally and professionally.

As a single mother, Priya has raised two exceptional children who have excelled academically and in extracurricular activities. Her eldest topped the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, and both children have been accepted into top US colleges, a testament to her unwavering dedication and support.

Priya's professional journey is equally impressive. She initially built a thriving creative career, working with the global ad agency OgilvyOne and winning the prestigious BBC World Amateur Filmmaker Award at that time. She was also part of the writing team for the critically acclaimed television series '24', starring Anil Kapoor. However, life took an unexpected turn, and Priya had to step away from her creative pursuits.

Undeterred, Priya reinvented herself, taking on various professional and entrepreneurial roles. Her journey was marked by both success and failure, each experience providing valuable life lessons. Today, she serves as the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Marketing at an American Nasdaq-traded AI company, demonstrating her adaptability and leadership in the corporate world.

Priya is also a certified Life Coach and motivational speaker, using her experiences to inspire and guide others. 

Her most cherished achievement is her book, "Ma, will life ever be the same again?" This poignant collection of short stories is designed to help families with young children cope with the loss of a parent, offering comfort and hope during difficult times.
