About the Author:


Dr Bani Dayal Dhir is Assistant Professor at the Department of English Studies, Dayalbagh Educational Institute (Deemed to be University) Agra, India. A distinguished scholar, she has been honoured with the prestigious Director's Medal in BA Hons(English), MA (English) and M.Phil.(English) programmes. In 2012, she completed her PhD, pioneering new interdisciplinary research pathways in literature. In recognition of her innovative contributions, she was awarded the National Young Systems Scientist Award by the Systems Society of India (SSI) in 2009 and the Raj Kumar Varshney Award in 2017. An avid traveller, she has delivered invited talks at prominent universities across the globe, including the University of Arizona (USA), University of Kiel (Germany), University of Waterloo (Canada), University of Helsinki (Finland), University of Northampton (UK) and University of Sussex (UK). She has also visited the University of Oxford (UK), Harvard University (USA), and MIT (USA). She has published research papers and creative writing in literary journals of national and international repute. She has contributed significantly to integrating the Eastern and Western literary-philosophical perspectives, focusing on the devotional literature of Eastern Ra Dha Sva Aa Mi Saints and the science of consciousness.
