Kadambari is the pen name of Silpa Shibu. Silpa Shibu is an M.C.A. graduate and a senior secondary teacher in a C.B.S.E school, situated in Thrissur, Kerala. She was born and brought up in Kerala. She is married to Shibu Rajan. She has two children. Her parents are T.A.Sakthidharan and Meera.T.S. Her only sibling is her brother Manu T.S.
