About the book:

Poetry is a faculty of mind, not something that needs to be imposed on human psyche. We all have a poetry taking shape at the subconscious level. For some of us it may be the melody of a popular song or even a casual one-liner spoken among friends and for others it could be an impactful excerpt from a textbook.

You can never escape that one unsuccessful attempt to write a few lines in that first Valentine’s Day greeting card! But in most cases these poetic ideas have the life of a soap bubble; full of inflating enthusiasm but short in survival.

This book is a humble but audacious attempt at igniting that dormant poetic instinct in the one who picks up this book. It is an attempt to initiate that spark in a reader’s thought process which can attempt to personify a lifeless object like an Empty Chair and give it the status of a Lonely Chair.

About the author:

Being a seventh grader and a 12-year-old individual not much exposed to the complexities of human life and the ebbs and tides that it involves the poems have randomness in style and topics except that all are composed of quatrains (four lines rhyming regularly).

The lack of chronological maturity is mitigated by my sincere attempt at presenting my thoughts as they would take shape in anybody’s brain but are not expressed as our life’s priorities are at the top our agenda.
